Bird Health Certificates & Documentation
What paperwork comes with your bird, and how to arrange more
Every bird at Dubai Birds is hand-raised and cared for at our aviary before sale. Not every bird leaves with a formal health certificate as standard, here's exactly what documentation you get, and how to arrange more if you need it.
What comes with your bird
If your bird doesn't have a health certificate
Not every bird in our aviary carries a formal veterinary health certificate at the time of sale. If you need one, for travel, insurance, a landlord, or your own peace of mind, tell us and we'll arrange an appointment with one of our partnered avian vets on your behalf. The examination and certificate are billed directly by the vet; the cost is payable by you.
Vet care before sale
Birds at our aviary are looked after by our partnered avian vets as part of normal aviary care. This is separate from, and does not replace, a formal dated veterinary health certificate.
CITES documentation
For species listed under the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES), we provide full traceability documentation where applicable:
If you think your bird is unwell
Contact us on WhatsApp at +971 56 297 7042 with a description and, if possible, photos or video. We'll advise on next steps, including a referral to one of our vet partners. See our [Returns Policy](/returns-policy/) for what's covered if a bird needs to be returned.
