The Fife Fancy Canary is a miniature version of the Border Fancy, bred to be smaller (under 11.4 cm) while maintaining the same beautiful proportions and rounded body shape. Developed in Fife, Scotland, they are one of the most popular show canaries due to their perfect form and manageable size. Despite their small size, they have a surprisingly strong, sweet song. Fife Fancies are hardy, active little birds that are easy to care for and breed. They come in a variety of colors including yellow, green, cinnamon, and variegated. Their compact size makes them ideal for those with limited space who still want the joy of canary keeping.
Diet
Canary seed mix, fresh greens (watercress, spinach, romaine), egg food, and cuttlebone. Keep their diet light due to their small size.
