The Gloster Canary comes in two varieties: the Corona (with a distinctive bowl-shaped crest that looks like a Beatles-style haircut) and the Consort (without a crest but essential for breeding). They are one of the most recognizable and charming canary breeds, developed in Gloucestershire, England. Glosters are small, compact birds with friendly, active personalities. While they are primarily bred for their appearance, males still sing beautifully. They are hardy, easy to care for, and make wonderful pets. The Corona variety is especially popular due to its unique, adorable appearance. Glosters are social birds that can be kept in pairs or small groups and enjoy an enriched environment with swings and perches.
Diet
Canary seed mix with fresh vegetables, cuttlebone, and egg food. Ensure the crest area stays clean and check regularly for any feather issues around the eyes.
